海螺沟位于甘孜藏族自治州泸定县境内，东距<a href="http://everbright.nease.net/chengdu.htm" target="_blank" >成都</A>380多公里，以低海拔现代冰川、大冰瀑和温泉著称。海螺沟冰川长15公里，尾端伸入海拔2850米的原始森林区，是地球上同纬度海拔最低、可供大众浏览观光的一条现代冰川；其冰瀑布宽500--1100米，高1080米，是我

国迄今为止发现的最大冰瀑布；其冰川舌长5.7公里，冰川弧拱、城门洞、冰缝等晶莹剔透，千姿百态，造型各异。沟内3处温泉，水温达50C至80C之间，是良好的浴疗温泉；沟内还有70多平方公里的原始森林，植被呈垂直分布，冰川、温泉与森林共生，世所罕见，蔚为壮观。 
海螺沟背依的贡嘎山，横跨泸定、康定、九龙3县，主峰海拔7556米，不仅是横断山脉的最高峰，也是四川的第一高峰，因此称为"蜀山之王"，风光奇丽。

在大冰瀑布这一侧还从未有人登顶过贡嘎山在这一侧的山上现在还留着17具登山者的遗体找到了一块小小的纪念碑

 没有自驾只是在成都包了辆车由一位在川藏线上跑了近20年的老司机开雨季的川藏线不敢开游记嘛文笔实在太差不敢写也写不出来啊抱歉了将就着看些烂片片吧
