1、“深情相拥” 王妃与昆仑奴凄美之爱
<P>    这款海报上表现的是王妃（张柏芝饰）和昆仑奴（张东健饰）深情相拥的一场戏。海报上的英文宣传语是：爱能改变命运吗？英文名定为《诺言》。
<P>    按照最初的制片计划，应该在内蒙古的星星塔拉拍摄。但是在此前的拍摄过程中，张柏芝由于连续高强度工作导致急性肾炎发作，回香港接受治疗。她当时仅仅卧床了十天，身体尚未完全恢复就匆匆赶回剧组，陈凯歌从她彼时的状态中找到了感觉，马上要求在阿斯哈图提前拍摄她和张东健深情相拥的那场戏。
<P>    陈红说，“导演拍摄这个镜头要表现的是两人之间一段凄美的爱情，具有强烈的悲剧感。而张柏芝大病初愈后还有一点虚弱的感觉正是陈凯歌要找的角色状态——是她，又好像不是她。”在实拍中，张东健的肤色被设计成比平时要黑，而张柏芝则被要求尽量地看不出唇色。
<P>    这场戏的拍摄让陈凯歌十分满意，陈红说，“当导演看到我们选出这段镜头制作海报的时候，他说画面让他感觉‘樱花飘然而落的凄美感动’。” </P>

2、“镜花水月” 小倾城与满神相视凝望
<P>    在这张海报上，大家看到的是小倾城（张柏芝扮演的倾城的少年版）和满神各自站在一截漂浮在水面上的枯木上相视凝望。
<P>    画面下方的水是通过电脑合成的，负责视觉特效的先科公司要求实拍中必须使用完全透明的玻璃才能达到在后期合成时尽可能完美的效果，于是剧组投入近百万人民币，将1000平米厚达8厘米的钢化玻璃搬进了摄影棚，这些玻璃不仅要能承重几百个工作人员站在上面，还不能沾上哪怕一个手印儿。制片组为此专门雇用了十几个场工负责玻璃的清洁，陈红特别批准给他们买了50双38块钱一双的高级纯棉袜子，用来擦拭玻璃的工具则是专门清洁高级轿车的麂皮，如此“舍本”为的就是工作时不留下一丝一毫的痕迹。拍摄这个场景时特别值得一提的是，镜头中的两截枯木并非加工而成，而是美工组在内蒙古苦苦寻觅了一周的时间，终于发现了这么两截已经被风蚀了几十年的枯树干，并从内蒙古运回了北京的摄影棚。陈红表示，特效制作的高标准带动整个制片成本的提高。 </P>

3、“蛮牛之战” 大将军击溃蛮军
<P>    大将军真田广之挥舞流星锤，将蛮军击溃的“蛮牛之战”在影片中只有90秒左右的时间，但在实际拍摄中却长达14天，而这14天被陈红称为“恶魔的14天”：“剧组5月1日从浙江横店转场至云南元谋，而当地的气温之高出乎剧组所有人意料——地表温度高达60摄氏度，几乎可以把鸡蛋煮熟了。在拍摄了一周左右之后，剧组上下已经被晒黑到不可思议的程度，好像都变成了元谋人！”陈红安排完北京的工作后再次赶到元谋时，被拍摄之艰苦震住了，“我们找的当地的群众演员因为要扮演蛮军，要求他们赤裸上身，头上戴着羽毛，身上挂着特制的骨头，在那种高温下骨头被晒得发烫，不少人得了皮炎。</P>
<P>”当然最让人感动的则是这场戏的主角真田广之，陈红说，“真田广之从3岁开始学习剑道，因此他在表演时的那种劲道和有节制是由内而外的，我们给大将军设计的武器‘流星锤’挥舞起来相当之重，同时他身上穿着的道具服装重达100多斤，在这样的高温下完成拍摄几乎是执行了不可能完成的任务！”</P>
